‘U wan buy...? U wan sell...? Salone’s first Sales/Ads website launched

By Samuel Harding

A new website, www.salonetiday.com, specifically for sales and adverts for Sierra Leone, has been launched.

Salonetiday.com is a unique website where Sierra Leoneans can buy/sell different items online like is done on ebay or kijiji.

"People who want to sell anything and everything can advertise on the website for a modest fee. If a man in Kono wants to sell his house, land or car, he advertises online so people in Bo, Makeni, Freetown, Kenema or Kabala can be able to view the item being sold online. This opens up the market for sellers not only to prospective buyers in Kono, but also across the country," proprietor of salonetiday.com, Sahr Musa Yamba told this press.

Yamba also iterated that the website will open up Sierra Leone to the rest of the world as the items advertised will be viewed world wide through the Internet.

"Sierra Leoneans in the Diaspora can be able to shop for cars/land etc. Online by sitting in the comfort of their homes abroad," Yamba said adding "This will open up business in the country to another level. The sole and primary purpose of salonetiday.com is to make business interaction easier and accessible whilst giving people more choices to choose from far and wide around the country".

Meanwhile, people who want to advertise on salonetiday.com can email admin1@salonetiday.com with their ads and questions.
