| Michael Schulenburg: stands accused of undiplomatic 'fraternising' |
The FOREIGN CONFIDENTIAL™ magazine has slammed at the disgraced United Nations diplomat, Michael v.d. Schulenburg as being a man familiar with controversy and controversial letter writing. In the piece by FOREIGN CONFIDENTIAL™, a 24-paged 'personal & confidential' letter written some 12 years ago by Schulenburg which was leaked to the media, is also made available for people to know the kind of snake-like character possessed by Schulenburg viz-a-viz being dogged by mysterious 'leaks' of his confidential letters.
Additionally, in a piece published by THE ECONOMIST™ magazine yesterday, it is now made very clear that Schulenburg is currently set to wage a media war against his bosses at the United Nations. He is quoted as having threatened the Ban Ki Moon administration in New York with “a situation in which I would have to tell everybody that the president wants me out of the country and the UN has readily complied”. As reported by THE ECONOMIST, "That is indeed what happened".
Schulenburg is now on a rampage but he seems to have forgotten a very salient fact. That is, if the President had so desired, all he needed to have done was to take a leaf out of former President Kabbah's book and declare Schulenburg as persona non grata. God knows that there are more than enough grounds for doing that; as revelations in the coming days and weeks will soon unveil.
Indeed, Mr. Schulenburg who once physically abused the UN Mission's Chief of Security by grabbing his collar and physically throwing him out into the compound street, is on the rampage but how long will he be 'on fire' before the real tables are turned and his inimical actions get to be further exposed? Time will tell. Meanwhile, please click the links below for more from FOREIGN CONFIDENTIAL™ and THE ECONOMIST™ magazines.
