Freetown Tuesday May 15 (SLENA)- Member of Parliament for Constituency 110, Hon Chernor Maju Bah over the weekend commissioned two bridges at Upper Tengbeh Town linking the rest of the Tengbeh town community. The project costs fourteen millions Leone (Le14 m).
Commissioning the two bridges, Hon. Chernor Bah said he was complementing the President’s effort in moving the country through its agenda for change.
Hon. Bah noted that as an MP, he deemed it fit to assist his constituents by constructing roads, bridges, providing portable water and scholarships for Sierra Leoneans alike.
Hon. Bah used the occasion to admonish youth to stay out of violence and advise them to add value to whatever activities they are engaged in. He assured the community of his unflinching support.
Constituency chairman, Mr. Kabba Sayor Koroma commended Hon. Chernor Bah for ensuring that community members archive their dreams by constructing bridges in their community.
The coordinator of the project, Jida Kamara, expressed appreciation of the efforts of the Honourable Member of Parliament, and recalled the day he approached Hon. Bah for his support toward the construction of the two bridges which the MP promised to construct.
Councillor Aruna Kamara of Ward 388 praised Hon. Bah for assisting the constituency in setting out development project for the benefit of the constituency and called on the constituents to work as a team to move the community forward.
Community leaders pledged to support and cooperate with their MP at all times.
Highlight of the commissioning was the award of a certificate to the MP by his constituents for a job well done.
