Dr. Sama Banya joined the APC to terrorise his fellow Kailahun and Eastern citizens BEFORE One-Party state was imposed! For those who are shocked to read the preceding sentence that Banya was part of the APC team who KILLED the SLPP, please be today informed that in 1978, SLPP might not have been killed via APC’s One-Party State had it not been for Sama Banya who used raw brute force to crudely intimidate the likes of honourable men like late Hon. I.K. Foday and other SLPP stalwarts to forcibly cross-over from SLPP to APC so as to KILL THE SLPP in 1978.

This APC Sama Banya man who is now pretending to be an SLPP saint, I have now reliably learnt during my recent sojourn in Kailahun, was such a terrible APC gangsterish 99-tactics fellow that he got poor SLPP’s Hon. Dauda Sandy to be locked up on trumped up charges of Murder after SLPP Sandy beat him (APC Banya) in 1977 elections. Poor Sandy spent several sessions of Parliament behind prison doors as a murder suspect (held without bail) thus losing his seat in Parliament. Same thing happened to Charles Margai.

Anyway, at this point of the SLPP’s Sandy losing his seat, the APC’s Sama Banya then terrorised his Kailahun people with the help of APC’s Victor Foh on Nomination Day (No joke!) for the subsequent Bye-Elections to replace Hon. Dauda Sandy of the SLPP who was by then locked up in jail on trumped up Murder charges.

The entire area spanning from Ngeihun to Pendembu was barricaded by heavily armed fearful Police SSDs deployed by APC’s Sama Banya causing innocent SLPP villagers to flee to the bushes in many areas! The current SLPP Chairman for Kailahun District, Mr. Jambai might have lost his life as a young man then if he had not disguised himself with red clothes on a motor-bike, pretending to be APC, in order to run through a fierce Ngeihun SSD police barricade during that fearful Nomination Day which the people of Kailahun will never wish to experience ever again. If anyone doubts this recounting of mine about the crude and brutal methods of APC’s Sama Banya (now posing as SLPP elder), just ask true SLPP members of Kailahun.

All of this terrorism by APC’s Sama Banya was just so as to make sure the SLPP could not put up a candidate against APC’s unpopular candidate so that APC’s Sama Banya went unopposed in the Bye-Elections. This was how the APC stole SLPP’s Hon. Dauda Sandy’s seat from the SLPP and gave it to APC’s Sama Banya - unopposed!!!

This old fool at 80 years recently wrote of my patriotic stance on behalf of the LUC of Kabala to be one of nauseating hypocrisy. Well, I believe what is more nauseating than my patriotism, was APC-SLPP’s Banya’s recent attempt to portray himself as a genuine SLPP man who has never engaged in APC gangster thuggery 99-tactics during which article he presented as if he only joined APC after One-Party was declared.

I read his tripe and I commented to my friends of what nauseating hogwash it was! The truth is that Sama Banya was already APC at the time Siaka Stevens imposed One Party state in Sierra Leone. Infact, if the APC’s Sama Banya had not wickedly intimidated the SLPP people of Kailahun with crude brute force, this country might never have had to suffer the chicanery of a One Party State.

That is Sama APC-SLPP Banya for you. A nauseating old fool at 82 years who spent his days terrorising his Kailahun people and whom very few in Kailahun will raise their hands up to proudly cite as a true patriot.

This old nauseating fool at 82 years joined the APC before One Party state was imposed and proceeded to help APC to kill the SLPP. Currently, he is widely suspected of deliberately doing a lot to drive people away from SLPP with his uncouth acts; thus gaining sympathy for APC which APC might never have enjoyed.
