An SLBC-TV program has revealed of how President Koroma in a recent visit to Panguma town in Eastern Kenema, was so warmly welcomed that he told the mostly Mende inhabitants, that as Father of the Nation, he should now be considered by them to also be a Mende born of Panguma.

Editor of THE OWL, a brand new paper, Dauda Musa Bangura, himself Mende-Sherbro from Bonthe, made the revelation during the 30 minutes sponsored TV program by Journalists for Truth in Politics. Musa scorned at politicians & media who twisted the President’s address to Lokos.

“If Ernest Bai Koroma is a Loko going by their interpretation of his motivational, upbeat words to Lokos, then it means Ernest Bai Koroma is also a Mende born of Panguma,” Dauda Musa Bangura stated last night.

Musa Bangura also added a call for the Independent Media Commission (IMC) and the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) to be more active with respect to proactively stemming the use of negative tribalism in politics. His call on IMC and PPRC is being re-echoed all over Sierra Leone.
