SLPP Professor Kelfala Kallon in America, last evening released another piece of ill informed unfortunate opinion on Sierra Leone’s Judiciary viz-a-viz SLPP’s case against Dr. Christiana Thorpe. Reading through his earlier piece a few weeks ago, which was most unfortunately published in SLPP official newspapers, one could scarcely believe the raw mis-information which Kelfala Kallon spewed out about the judiciary’s handling of that SLPP’s matter. He has repeated his ill-informed allegations last night.

SLPP Leaders will do well to inform Kallon that the cause of delay in the said matter has more to do with the SLPP’s many applications for extensions of time within which to file their papers. Ongoing delay has more to do with laziness and/or indecisiveness on part of the SLPP itself than to do with Judiciary being “judicial arm of the APC” as the pro-SLPP Kallon spuriously alleges.

In our view, SLPP already enjoys a lot of support within  an independent Judiciary bending over backwards to maintain its independence & impartiality. Judiciary is an arm of the APC party? We do not think so Prof. Kallon!
