Readers of local tabloids will notice I have consistently been ignoring one Jonathan Leigh and his very, low selling Independent Observer. I pay some attention to equally low selling Global Times because the latter paper has readership in certain international circles who are being deluded into not knowing the type of disgracefully low daily sales of that tabloid; a reflection of how unserious the two papers are seen inside the country by the newspaper-reading citizens.

Jonathan Leigh has last weekend made phone calls blackmailing junior journalists who have highlighted his undue rudeness towards me; he claims I ignore him because I am afraid of him. He is confused.

I ignore him because he is a disgrace to Sierra Leone journalism. This is the same man in January 1993 whom NPRC military junta gave a big fat ‘letter’ sealed in a brown envelope saying ‘thank-you’ for outright lies Leigh wrote in Concord Times to justify the murders of innocent citizens including a pregnant woman on December 29th 1992. Some of us have a lot of contempt for you Jonathan. You’re a proven liar with little credibility. That is why many ignore you.

How do you sleep at night knowing how many people you have been ‘thanked’ to destroy? Knowing you helped to cover up the murders of innocent people including Police Officers, Military Officers, Firemen, Ports Officials AND a Pregnant Lady?

I still have copies of January 1993 Concord Times editions with your by-lined malicious (lie-lie) articles misinforming the public about those innocent people. That is why your likes will NEVER want an Inquest as you will be exposed for what you are!

In all of this, what is important to you and your ilk presenting a facade to the world is what you know about yourselves and not what you present to the world.  Do you sleep well? How does your conscience sit with you? Or maybe you have a poorly developed conscience? If you don’t have a conscience, develop some common sense!  Continue to sell 100 to 150 copies; Continue to write about Sylvia Blyden every day of your life but do not ever for even one moment think I fear your pen. If the likes of Junior Navo, Moseray Fadika and Frank Timis are afraid of your God damned blackmailing, I am not afraid of you. You are nothing but a low selling, blackmailing salesman peddling malicious and wicked lies to unsuspecting readers but just check your extremely low sales of your newspaper and you should conclude just how useless you are to this country.

Who wants to take their money to buy the rubbish you peddle?
