PUBLIC NOTICE
INVITATION TO OBSERVE SIERRA LEONE’S ELECTION PROCESS (17th NOVEMBER, 2012 PRESIDENTIAL AND PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS)
The National Electoral Commission (NEC), which is in charge of organizing and conducting all public elections in Sierra Leone, hereby extends an invitation to all interested groups and organizations, local and international, to observe the following activities of the electoral process.
The Exhibition of PVR will be done simultaneously in all 2,998 voter registration turned exhibition centers nationwide. All interested groups and organizations wishing to participate in the observation of every activity of the 2012 elections must first be accredited by NEC. Individual(s)/person(s) will not be accredited.
The Commission will inform all interested groups and organizaions on the procedures to be followed for accreditation. This will be followed by the release of guidelines and code of conduct for observers and interested groups and organizations are requested to contact the External Relations Unit, National Electoral Commission Headquarter, OAU Drive, Tower Hill, Freetown.
