The SLPP’s frightening use of tribal incitement in politics to the extent of deploying such into and from the politics of neighbouring countries has raised many alarm bells all over Sierra Leone except within corridors of certain NGOs being assisted with project writing by SLPP politicians like Kalilu Totangi and others.
One such NGO is so-called Center for Coordination of Youth Activities (CCYA) fronted by one Ngolo Katta also of National Elections Watch (NEW) which collected £2,000,000 (Fourteen Billion Leones) from the British DFID to monitor the period leading up to the elections this November.
Such dangerous tribal games being played by SLPP in the run-up to elections to the extent of importing Guinean tribal animosities, should have raised alarm bells by now but it appears that the Fourteen Billion Leones (Le14,000,000,000) which the British DFID has given to likes of Ngolo Katta to monitor elections is now being spent to fund activities which need to be well examined as to their civil society efficacy; devoid of shady and sinister politics.
The use of this £2million (Le14Billion) needs to be well aired. After this, we should move to study U.N. contracts to local service suppliers, then the secret moles in Government Ministries will be well studied and properly examined for public perusal. We will start with Health Ministry’s Procurement Department and then we will move to.... Yeah, we plan to do a lot of things in the coming days.
