Corrigendum – Cross Carpeting/Political Defections

Mr Solomon A.J Pratt (commonly known as Jolly Boy) was not a member of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) at the time of the 1967 General Election. He joined the All People’s Congress as an Independent candidate from the Mountain Rural District and won the election as stated in the posting. He did not therefore cross carpet nor a defect to the APC. The error is regretted. (Photo:Anthony Kamara, Snr, author)
