If, as the SLPP claims, they are the party which stands for peace and a peaceful, united co-existence in Sierra Leone, why are they still flogging the statement of Coachie Mansaray? Coachie has apologised over the radio, over the newspapers, in a signed public statement issued and also live over national TV. So, why is the SLPP, continuing the deed of putting President Koroma's face everyday next to Coachie's unfortunate words right at the top of every edition of their 'UNITY' newspaper? This newspaper believes they are doing so for only one reason. To stir up anger within chests of Mende voters. At occassion when Coachie made the statement, it was seen as President Koroma, right from the High Table, immediately cautioned Coachie.
