The Majority Leader of Parliament, Hon. S.B.B Dumbuya yesterday handed over a cheque of Le 50 Million on behalf of the Speaker and the Leadership of Parliament to Mrs. Cordelia Sankoh, daughter of the late Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Victor Chukuma Johnson.

S.B.B Dumbuya, before handing the cheque said that the deceased Deputy Speaker was given a befitting burial, and encouraged the family to accept the fate that had befallen them as God alone giveth and taketh at will.

Mrs. Cordelia Sankoh received the cheque in the presence of her brother, and signed the related financial documents in tears.

The deceased’s son, Mr. Victor Chukuma Johnson Jr. thanked and appreciated the Parliamentary Leadership for the support provide at this challenging moment of grief; opened his father’s office and took his personal effects; before he finally handed over the office and his official vehicle to the Leadership of the House.
