The Freetown City Council (FCC) has officially apologised to the former Chairman and Leader of the main opposition Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP) John Oponjo Benjamin (JOB) and a top businessman and investor, Femi Hebron for including their names and addresses in the recently released 100 names of public institutions and private properties rate debtors.
According to the Mayor of the FCC, His Worship Franklyn Bode Sam Gibson, the names of these two important personalities were mistakenly entered into the list of owemongers but that they have both settled their arrears with the council long before now. He pleaded for them to forgive the Council for any inconveniency this might have caused them.
