The Prince of Peace Ministry International, donated toiletries to 100 Ebola survival and orphans on April 7th, 2015 at the conference hall of the Ministry of Social Welfare Gender, Children Affairs at New England Ville, Freetown. Moreover, 250 bottles of liquid hand soap and 250 bleach sprays as well as skin disease soaps were also distributed to the targeted beneficiaries.

Upon donating the items on behalf of the Prince of Peace Ministry International to the Ministry of Social Welfare, Mr. Abraham Bah a very passionate social worker working with the Ministry Of Social Welfare Gender, and Children’s Affairs presented and distributed the materials to beneficiaries.

In giving a brief background of the Prince of Peace Ministry International connection to the donation, Mr. Bah mentioned that the above mentioned organization is a religious ministry well established in London, United Kingdom under the guardianship of Rev. “With the invasion Ebola in Sierra Leone and its devastating impact in the country and its neighboring countries, it has rendered our women and girls vulnerable to the Ebola Virus Disease which has made them orphans and widows.”

Mr. Bah expatiated that it was due to this that congregation members of Prince of Peace Ministry International felt obliged to donate toiletries to the poor, deprived and those affected by the deadly Ebola Virus in Sierra Leone namely: Ebola orphanage, Ebola survivors, communities Health Centers and other needy communities like slums.

This singular act will help in alleviating the suffering of those affected by the destruction the killer disease ‘Ebola’ has brought in the sub-region of West Africa and help prevent the spread of the virus.

In order to contribute to the prevention of the Ebola Virus Disease, the above named church (Prince Of Peace Ministry International) in collaborating with the Ministry of Social Welfare and Gender and Children’s Affairs will be donating anti-Ebola materials to Ebola orphanage homes, key communities health centers and slum communities. The Donation according to Mr. Bah will be carried out continuously.

Upon receiving the donation on behalf of Social Welfare, Deputy Minister of Social Welfare Mustapha Bai Atila thanked Prince of Peace Ministry International for such a kindly gesture and he encouraged other NGOs and international partners to follow suit. Hon. Atila said that these children are the future of this country; they need help, if we are optimistic of having a better Sierra Leone, our focus should be placed mainly on the children who are the bacon for a prosperous Sierra Leone.

The beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude to Prince of Peace Ministry for lending them its helping hand at this crucial time when all hope is lost.
