The Project Manager of DAQVAH, Max Abass Sesay speaking on behalf of the foundation said that the DAQVAH project aim at reviving charitable activities in the country especially with their fellow Muslims to practice the teachings of the Holy Quran. He added that Prophet Mohamed teaches greatly about the importance of charity in the Holy Quran. He went on that as a charitable group in the country, they have observed that most people are finding it extremely difficult to have their meal a day and as a result of that most of the people are suffering. He continued that giving is one of the ways that Muslims can obtain favor and mercy from God. He added that as part of their thirst to contribute to humanity in the not too distance future, they are looking forward to open an orphanage home for the less privilege children in the country. He went on to say that charity is a good practice of the Muslim religion and therefore he called on fellow Muslims to come on board and give their support to the poor and he said that by so doing they will succeed both this world and the one thereafter.  ‘’ Fellow Muslims this is to revive the teachings of charity in the Holy Quran,’’ he said.
