He reminded his audience that the Methodist Boys High School was found on the 6th April, 1874 and has produced great men and women of this nation. He added that, the school has produced two vice presidents, CA Kamara-Taylor and FM Minah (both APC); father of current Minister of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs, Hon. Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden, Edward Babatunde Gustavus Blyden (RIP); Dr. Mohamed Tunde MAcharthy; CEO Tumac Group of Companies, former Mayor of Freetown City Council, Herbert George Williams, to name but few.

He said, the home prepares the child to instill discipline before starts schooling. Mr. Lewis continuing that, the church today has turned into another place rather than a place of worship. Parents left their children to roam around the church during services. To the school, indiscipline is very rampant. Violent in sporting activities, clique activities among school going pupils and examination malpractices has become a common thing in schools. He furthered that indiscipline in the community and the nation at large.

Street trading is the order of the day, stores are being erected in places where pedestrians should walk, young ladies dress half naked, men dress like women” he noted  Mr. Alan Lewis charged current pupils and his audience to be discipline in building a brighter future for Sierra Leone.
