On the 9th April, 2017, the Chief Executive Officer for SOCIAL COOPERATION FOR DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION, Mr. Joseph Saidu N’Bompa Turay after a careful observation and assessment of the ongoing National Registration of our people, came up with the following suggessions.
Ď% Considering the time of this operation in mid dry season and the hottest time of the year, may people of different ages suffered the heart wave.
Ď% The number of registration centers don’t seem to be adequate.
Ď% In some areas, one has to walk three to five miles distances to access a registration centers, under the hot burning Sun.
Ď%Some people spend more than two days to be registered.
Ď% In other centers, the machines are faulty, especially Central Mosque registration center machines was not in working order still I left the center, some leaving the area residents with no choice but to process; ETC.

This truly was a charitable offer for our people regardless of your place of origin, tribe, religion, or sex. The distribution was not discriminatory and i more sure the water was distributed in my presence. We were able to reach fifty registration centers.
At one center a lady was on the queue ( line) and she was not feeling good, by the time she was offered the water she exclaimed that he who brings water brings life, most people fought to get the water. I am glad me and my organization could do something to help, but thanks to Hon. Balogun Pormasu Koroma ( (Minister of Transport and Aviation), Alhaji Shekito ( Special Adviser to President on Social Welfare), Esq Lansana Dumbuya, (Lawyer), Mr. Dennis Garvie (EGTC General Manager), Mr. Paul Kalawa (Agriculture Ministry), Mr. Issa Kanu ( (Diaspora UK), Mr. Abu Bakarr Kamara ( DJ Boxx), Mr Samuel Wise Bangura (AYV) for their support to make this plight successful.
I think it compliment the His Excellency, the President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma Agenda For Prosperity program.
With the trend of events i call upon all patriotic Sierra Leoneans to join us in this operation. We must help and love ourselves; and this is non political but to help pass a pure, fresh packet of drinking water to the less unprivileged and unfortunate brother and sister and all.
