The solar products are; Inverters, Batteries and panel that can supply electricity on 24/7 with a lot merits as against generator. These products can provide electricity to homes, offices and companies with cheaper cost as their batteries has 5yrs warrant.
Luminous International Business Senior Manager,Deepak Kumar explained that Luminous Power Technology is an India base solar company that was established in 1988 to help salvage the electricity crisis in the country as they have a vast portfolio comprising power back-up solutions like UPS, Batteries and Solar Applications that powered Fans, Wires and Switches to name but few. He added that they have 7 manufacturing units in Indian and operates in more than 36 countries across the world as they have more than 6000 employees andserve more than 60,000 partners and as well as millions of customers around the world.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Insons, Dilip Nawarni said Insons has being in active serve for over 25 years now and they are accredited for production of quality energy through solar by their customers. He boasted that with use of modern day technology, they are always a step ahead of their rivals. Nawani disclosed that in 2015, Insons launched the first online shop in Sierra Leone at www.insons.net that is now a success story. “Now we are entering into renewable energy with Luminous to help address the electricity crisis in Sierra Leone” Dilip Narmani said. He added that Luminous Solar products generates power from the sun and these products can produce uninterrupted electricity supply at a cheaper rate.

Speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Power and government, Advisor to President on energy and power, Henry Serry-Kamal assured Luminous and Insons of government’s continual support as the energy sector is a key priority in president Koroma’s agenda for prosperity and the President Recovery Priorities. He however cautioned them on the cost of their product as if it’s too expensive, the common man cannot afford to buy it, it will not create that impact the government is expecting.
