Celtel is Sierra Leone’s foremost provider of mobile voice service (www.celtel.com)

More than 12,700 people in 21 countries, combine their thoughts, experience and actions to make life better for internal and external customers and enhance value for our stakeholders.

We look at our markets through our great country teams, harness our deep knowledge of our industry and local environment and deliver excellent service appropriate to our different market segments. Our approach responds to our customers’ issues by providing innovative insights that become achievable actions. We depend on teamwork, cultural diversity, total productivity and the sharing of knowledge and experience to help make life better for our customers and help them better actualize their goals.

We seek to recruit self-motivated and qualified Sierra Leonean and African nationals who currently reside in the diaspora and want to come home to Africa. This is hinged on our belief that our continent will be better positioned to take its rightful place in history and development if some of our diasporans come home to use their intellectual capital in Africa. We seek applicants who:

• are interested in contributing meaningfully to the development of the telecommunications sector and thus national development in Sierra Leone and Africa;

• Have industry, sector or functional experience in any or a combination of Telecoms operational or project management, billing platforms and systems, networks and information systems, customer care and marketing, distribution systems and dealer management, human resources information systems, change management business planning processes and finance systems implementation and management;

• are great team players, have strong analytical abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• have excellent academic pedigree evidenced by a good degree/higher diploma/professional qualification;

• are creative, dynamic and resourceful.

To actualize this ambition, Celtel is participating in several career fairs in the United Kingdom (May 2007) and in Washington, United States (September 2007) during the course of this year. If you have children and relatives who live abroad, please invite them to visit our stands for more information.

We provide a highly competitive package locally in addition to relocation and resettlement assistance.

If you are interested and meet the requirements, please send in an application and your curriculum vitae including your contact address, (not PO Box), your e-mail address and copies of relevant certificates to:
