Professor SOLOMON ATHANASIUS JOLLIBOY Pratt, was Sir Milton Margai’s first Economic Adviser to SLPP Government. With eight university degrees including Law, Economics, Music, Agriculture, he provided excellent service to Margai. On death of Sir Milton, Pratt continued to serve Sir Albert Margai as Govt Economic Adviser but SAJ Pratt never joined SLPP party. During the Albert Margai reign, Solomon Pratt became dissatisfied with Margai ignoring Pratt’s economic advise so Pratt resigned as Government Adviser & joined opposition APC.

In Loving Memory of Charles Sylvanus Browne of Sierra Leone
Charles Sylvanus Omopeh Browne was born in the family house on Rightpath Lane, Freetown, Sierra Leone to the union of Uriah Dandeson Browne and Mary Petan Browne (nee Taylor). Uriah Dandeson Brown was a blacksmith and tanner who also worked as a clerk for the Railway Line, and Mary Taylor was a popular and gifted seamstress. C.S.O. Browne attended Ebenezer Wesleyan Primary School before completing his education at Albert Academy. It was at Albert Academy that Charles developed the talent he had in sewing and fixing numerous items that he would utilize all his life.
